Opportunity:
RN - Medical Surgical
Job Details:
* 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
* Schedule may rotate between days and nights depending on unit needs, with efforts made to minimize frequent flipping between shifts
* Travelers may self-schedule but are only guaranteed days off as listed in their contract
* Float to any Medical Surgical unit across 3 locations in Fargo as needed (Broadway, SMCF, and South University)
* 32-bed unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights
* Provide care for adult trauma, medical, and surgical patients with a wide range of needs including Trauma/Orthopedic Trauma
* Unit is certified by The Joint Commission for Hip Fracture Program
* Perform electronic documentation, assessments, patient education, and clinical skills using EPIC
* Utilize AcuDose and other inpatient equipment as needed
* Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting (Level 1, 200+ beds) required
* Travel experience required
* EPIC experience required
* Experience working in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center required
* Active ND or Compact RN License required
* Required certification: BLS (AHA)
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Must badge in and out at the facility
