Opportunity:

OBGYN - Locum Coverage

Job Details:

* Hospital-based position with clinic privileges to be sought as coverage needs expand
* Setting includes both inpatient and outpatient hospital services
* Call requirement consists of 3 twenty-four-hour shifts
* Typically 2 to 6 deliveries per 24-hour shift with occasional calls from the ED and backup from hospitalists
* Call shifts are not intended to be in-house restricted, however due to volume, providers typically remain on-site for their shift
* Responsibilities include both rounding and admissions
* Patient demographics consist of adult women
* Required procedures include D&C, C-section, and other inpatient OBGYN procedures
* Department performs 50 to 75 deliveries per month
* Applicant must provide documentation of clinical services for 100 patients, including at least 15 Cesarean sections and 30 vaginal deliveries within the previous 24 months
* Applicant must also provide documentation of clinical services for 50 gynecology patients within the previous 24 months
* Provider will work alongside other OBGYN providers
* Washington State license required
* Required certification: BLS
* EMR system: Epic experience required

This hospital-based facility provides comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care. The department maintains an active delivery volume of 50 to 75 deliveries per month and offers a collaborative environment with multiple OBGYN providers on staff. The facility utilizes Epic as its electronic medical records system and maintains strong interdisciplinary support including emergency department and hospitalist services.
