Open Position: Physician Assistant - Physician Assistant

Opportunity:

APC/APP - Urology

Job Details:

* Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings across a medical center and urology clinic located approximately one mile apart
* Both hospital and clinic privileges required
* NP candidates will work independently without a supervising physician
* PA candidates with surgical experience will assist with surgeries and perform hospital rounding
* PA candidates without surgical experience will work exclusively in the clinic setting
* See an average of 18 patients per day
* Treat patients ages 17 and older
* Perform standard urology procedures in clinic and operating room settings
* Perform cystoscopies and other in-office procedures
* Work up patients for surgery and assist in surgical procedures
* Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction
* Manage kidney stones and male incontinence
* Complete yearly medication refills
* Document clinical services representative of scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months (case logs required)
* Utilize EPIC EMR system
* Washington state license required and must be in hand at time of presentation; IMLC not accepted
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

This facility operates a 122-bed medical center alongside a dedicated urology clinic, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient urological care. The facility utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system and maintains a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment to support high-quality patient outcomes.
