Opportunity:

Registered Nurse

Job Details:

* Full-time position working 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts
* Schedule includes every other weekend and every other holiday
* Must be willing to float to similar or lower acuity units as needed
* Must be willing to take charge when needed (no multiplier for charge)
* Three years of adult, adolescent, and geriatric inpatient psychiatric experience required
* Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission; BSN preferred
* CPR certification required
* Previous psychiatric and substance use inpatient experience preferred
* Restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention experience preferred
* Provide direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians in a psychiatric setting
* Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu and work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team
* Contribute to individual patient treatment plans by developing, implementing, and documenting goals and interventions
* Apply nursing process from a Trauma Informed Recovery model of care
* Utilize Electronic Medical Record system with sufficient typing and computer skills
* Demonstrate strong critical thinking, time management, crisis management, and team building skills
