Job Details:

* MD/DO provider type required
* 0.25 FTE position with an expected duration of 6 months
* Schedule is 4-5 days per month, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* 8-hour daily shift standard
* Outpatient clinic setting
* No call requirement
* No rounding or admissions required
* See adult and geriatric patient populations
* Average of 14-16 patients per day
* No required procedures
* Will work solo as the only cardiologist on site, supported by family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, orthopedics, general surgery, ED, and hospitalist teams
* Active Alaska (AK) license required at time of presentation
* Required certification: BLS
* Epic EMR proficiency required
* Applicant must provide documentation of cardiovascular disease services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months

Facility:

This outpatient healthcare facility provides a wide range of specialty services to its community, including cardiology, family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, orthopedics, general surgery, emergency medicine, and hospitalist care. The facility serves adult and geriatric populations and operates with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team approach to support providers working in a solo specialty capacity. The organization utilizes Epic as its primary electronic medical records system.
