Opportunity:

Non-Invasive Cardiologist (Hospitalist Role)

Job Details:

* Hospital-based position providing both inpatient and outpatient support with primary focus on inpatient coverage
* Rounding and admissions responsibilities, including STEMI admits (approximately 2 per week) with remaining duties consisting of consults and follow-up rounds
* Average of 14-16 patients per day
* 247-bed facility
* On-call requirement with average ratio of 1:6
* ARNP support available every day except Sunday
* Adult patient population
* Must be licensed to read Echo, Cardiac Nuclear, TEE, and Cardioversion
* Required procedures include Cardioversions and TEEs (approximately 2-4 TEEs per shift)
* EP procedures include full spectrum from pacemakers to ablations
* Experience with cardiac nuclear medicine required (Nuclear Board Certification not required)
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
* EMR system: Epic (charting system experience required)
* Washington state license and DEA preferred; IMLC accepted
* Must provide documentation of cardiovascular disease services representative of scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months

Facility:

This is a 247-bed hospital offering a comprehensive range of cardiovascular services, including both inpatient and outpatient care. The facility supports a full spectrum of cardiac procedures, from non-invasive diagnostics such as echocardiography, cardiac nuclear imaging, and TEEs, to interventional services including pacemakers and ablations. An ARNP is available on-site daily to support the cardiology team, and the facility uses Epic as its electronic medical records system.
