Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular Care Unit

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed per week preferred
* Work 3 shifts per week with at least every 3rd weekend required
* Care for acute cardiac patients including cath lab patients (ablations, PFO closures, stents, pacers, etc.)
* Care for stroke patients and PCU overflow patients as needed
* 28-bed Cardiovascular Care Unit with 4-5:1 patient ratios
* Unit technicians available to support staff
* Float to like units including Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Obs, and Rehab
* Perform basic med tele procedures
* Maintain high standards for documentation compliance and processes related to central lines, foleys, C-diff, and other HAIs
* Required equipment: EKG, bladder scanner, sit to stand, Hoyer lift, hover mat, Alaris pumps, Pyxis
* Documentation system: Meditech EBCD
* Dress code: Royal blue scrub tops, royal blue or black pants, grey, white, black, or royal blue undershirt
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Basic Dysrhythmia, NIH certification
* Cardiac experience is a plus
* Team-oriented mindset and positive attitude required
