Job Details:

* Block scheduling type
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* No floating between units
* At least 1 year of sterile processing experience required
* Must be certified - CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification required
* Robotic instrumentation experience required; Da Vinci Robotics experience greatly preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: any color
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
* Required skills include: acute hospital OR, high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart management, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/tray assembly, equipment documentation, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, manual cleaning, laparoscopic procedures, endoscopy, fiber optics, loaner trays, ultrasonic cleaner, and more
* Specialty areas include: Ear/Nose/Throat, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, Plastics, and Vascular
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility

This short-term acute care facility operates 418 staffed beds and features 21 procedure rooms. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a comprehensive surgical environment supporting a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, robotics, and general surgery. The organization maintains high standards for sterile processing and surgical instrumentation to ensure patient safety and quality care.
