Job Details:

* Provide acute inpatient physical therapy, primarily consisting of med-surg and hospitalist referrals
* Assignment may include a mix of inpatient and outpatient care
* Treat patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
* Work independently on weekends as the sole therapist in the acute care setting
* Strong time management skills required
* No wound care required
* May be asked to float to Santa Rosa facility if able
* Travelers who refuse to float to sister facilities may risk termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of acute care experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Preferred experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings for adult populations
* Scheduling type is variable
* 40 orientation hours required
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Required certifications: BLS, CA state license
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Interdisciplinary support available including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
