Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

* Work in a 32-bed NICU unit located on the 1st and 2nd floor of the Bay Area Campus
* Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3
* Work 3-4 weekends per month
* No on-call responsibilities
* Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, unit clerk, and necessary nurses to care for patients
* Ventilator experience required
* Experience with 23-40+ week gestation infants required
* Ventilator/Oscillator experience preferred
* CPN charting experience preferred
* Perform typical procedures including intubations, assist with eye exams, feeding tube insertions, and IV insertions
* Work with equipment including vents, oscillators, and Vapotherm
* Document using Centricity Perinatal and Meditech EMR systems
* Float to Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery as needed
* Required certifications: CPR, NRP
* Scrub color: Royal Blue

The facility provides comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns ranging from 23 to 40+ weeks gestation, utilizing Centricity Perinatal and Meditech EMR platforms. The unit maintains a collaborative team environment and supports a wide range of neonatal procedures.
