Opportunity:

Surgical Tech - CVOR

Job Details:

* Rotating shift schedule covering days, evenings, and nights (no block scheduling)
* Call and weekend requirements mandatory
* Call can occur on weekdays and/or weekends
* Weekend shifts may fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
* Call response time of 30 minutes required
* In-house call rooms available for use when needed
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Must hold active NCCT or NBSTSA certification (no other certifications accepted)
* Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience within the last 3 years required (3 years strongly preferred)
* Minimum 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years required
* Minimum 1 year of recent travel experience required
* Scrubbing is not required for this role
* Must have experience with Cardiac Robotics, LVAD, and Heart Transplant procedures
* Must be proficient in CVOR as well as the following specialties to cover additional cases:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Neurosurgery
- Vascular Surgery
- Trauma
- Robotics
- Heart Transplant

The facility supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neurosurgery, orthopedics, vascular, and robotic surgery. The organization is equipped to handle advanced cardiac procedures including LVAD implantation and heart transplantation, reflecting its commitment to providing the highest level of surgical care to its patient population.
