RN - L&D

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor & Delivery unit with 29 beds
* Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 2-3 RNs
* Patient ratio of 4-6:1
* Minimum 1 year of current Labor & Delivery RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN, and NRP
* OB, med-surg, and GYN experience preferred
* Work with Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring equipment
* EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
* Perform and assist with post-operative gynecological surgeries, urogynecology surgeries, ectopic pregnancies, and high-risk pregnancies including PPROM, preeclampsia, previa, and PTL
* Conduct fetal monitoring (NSTs), GYN oncology post-op care, women's health med-surg, and post-partum NICU mother care
* Must follow HCA ICARE standards of behavior
* Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to stay busy preferred

This birthing center is a dedicated women's health facility offering comprehensive Labor & Delivery services. The unit supports a wide range of obstetric and gynecological cases, including high-risk pregnancies and post-operative surgical care. The facility maintains a well-staffed environment with experienced charge nurses and a strong focus on patient care quality.
