Opportunity:

Sonographer - OB/Breast

Job Details:

* 8-hour rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and call as scheduled
* Breast imaging experience required
* Must be able to perform OB imaging on all trimesters
* Perform all non-invasive imaging procedures within established guidelines and timeframes
* If certified in Cardiac: perform echocardiograms, TEEs, TTEs, stress echo, and structural heart program imaging
* If certified in Vascular: perform upper/lower venous duplexes, arterial duplexes, dialysis grafts, venous insufficiencies, pulse volume recordings, ankle brachial index, and related procedures
* Obtain patient information prior to testing, answer procedural questions, and provide courteous care to patients and families
* Notify appropriate medical staff when images appear to vary from normal findings
* Calculate and measure cardiovascular structures from procedure data to aid physician interpretation and diagnosis
* Document procedures within patient chart using Cerner charting system
* Complete accurate documentation through EPIC to ensure proper billing
* Coordinate and prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely procedure completion
* Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas
* Maintain patient and unit confidentiality at all times
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* Scrub color: Gray
* Acute care setting
* BSN not required
* Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS (AHA)
* Updated driver's license required at time of submission
* 50-mile radius rule applies
