Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele Float

Job Details:

* 36 or 48 hour shift options available
* Night shift schedule with variable weekends required
* Float position - will float between MS and Tele units
* At least 6 weekend shifts required every 6 week period
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated
* No RTO within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; maximum RTO of 2 weeks total
* Must be able to work 3 out of 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day
* Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years of experience and large facility experience (400 beds or larger)
* Valid, active California RN license required at time of submission - no pending or temporary licenses accepted
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
* Must pass an onsite EKG exam on the first day of orientation (one attempt allowed)
* Charting system experience required; Epic experience required
* 2 supervisor or higher references from within the past year required at time of submission
* Treats adult patient population across all medical and surgical diagnoses
* Must have Telemetry and ACLS experience
* Key skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central line care/management, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, wound care, and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* Flu vaccination required - no exemptions
