Job Details:

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room required
* Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS issued through American Heart Association
* On-call responsibilities are required
* Scrubs are provided by the hospital
* Work in 5 OR suites and 2 Endoscopy rooms
* Use Meditech for charting and Pyxis for medication administration
* Must have experience with the following procedures: Bariatric, Vascular, Ortho, Neuro, OB/GYN, General, Trauma, Urology, ENT, and Ophthalmology
* Assist with administration of anesthesia and ensure proper patient positioning for procedures
* Maintain accurate charting throughout patient's surgical experience
* Safely transport, move, and position patients pre and post operatively
* Perform sterile surgical skin preps of specific operative sites
* Initiate and maintain continuous counts of sponges and instruments throughout each case
* Skills checklist completed within one year of submission required
* Two professional references from work history within the past three years required
* Specialty competency exam with a passing score of 80% or higher required
