Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (8-hour shifts may vary within 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM window) including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
* On-call rotation Saturday, Sunday, and holidays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
* Weekend on-call rotation preferred (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
* 17-week assignment covering a vacancy
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine technology required, typically obtained through completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program or AMA-accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or equivalent
* Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certifying Board (NMTCB) required
* CNMT certification required
* New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) licensure required
* NY license must be submitted with the application pending licenses and certifications are not acceptable
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Only AHA-accepted certifications will be recognized
* Interdisciplinary support with Radiology department
* Required skills include: 3 Phase, Adult, Cerebral Blood Flow, Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, Flow/Function, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, I-123 Uptake Scan, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Liver Imaging, MUGA Scan, Nuclear Cardiology, PET Scan, Pharmacological Stress, Philips equipment, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, Uptake Scan, Ventilation/Perfusion, Whole Body, and With Lasix
