Job Details:
* Assess patient conditions and plan and implement patient care plans
* Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
* Assist physicians in performing procedures
* Observe and record patient vital signs
* Ensure ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment function properly, including adjusting ventilator/IABP
* Administer intravenous fluids and medications
* Perform suctioning as needed
* Collaborate with fellow critical care team members
* Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
* Act as patient advocate
* Provide education and support to patient families
* Care for pre- and post-operative patients as needed
* May be responsible for caring for pediatric and adolescent patients on occasion
* May need to float between two campus locations depending on facility census
* Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS/ENPC (must be through the American Heart Association)
* TNCC certification preferred but not required
* Wyoming RN or multi-state RN license required
