Open Position: RN - Med Surg Orthopedic/Neuro

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $4233.36

Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* 48 hours guaranteed preferred
* Work on a 32-bed Med/Surg unit on the 3rd floor
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6-8 RNs, 4 PCTs, and 1 unit secretary
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6-8 RNs, 4 PCTs, and 1 unit secretary until 10:00 PM
* Patient ratios of 1:4 TPC or 1:5 with PCT, may go up to 6 patients with PCT at times
* Rotate every 3rd weekend; night shifts may fall on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
* Perform procedures including total joint replacements, complex spine care, complex neurosurgery cases, and general surgery
* Float to Med/Tele and Surgical Specialty floor as needed
* Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Use Welch Allyn equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Required certification: BLS
* Preferred certifications: ACLS or PALS, Basic Dysrhythmia class
* Dress code: Royal blue scrub top and bottom, or black scrub bottoms may be worn
