Job Details:
* Wednesday through Saturday schedule working four 10-hour shifts per week
* Weekends required
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required
* Must be certified in sterile processing (CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification required)
* Robotic instrumentation experience required; Da Vinci Robotics experience greatly preferred
* Must be proficient in high-level disinfection (HLD), use of washers/sterilizers, and steam sterilization testing and monitoring
* Experience with case cart management, sterile wrapping procedures, and sets/tray assembly required
* Skills required include manual cleaning, ultrasonic cleaner operation, immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), and proper labeling
* Specialty experience required across surgical areas including general, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, laparoscopic, endoscopy, and vascular
* Experience with loaner trays, loaner consignment trays, implants, fiber optics, and drills preferred
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Scrub color: any color permitted
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

This short-term acute care facility is a 418-bed hospital with 21 operating rooms serving adult and geriatric patient populations. The facility is equipped with advanced robotic surgical systems and supports a wide range of surgical specialties. The sterile processing department operates at a high level of complexity, supporting diverse surgical instrumentation needs across multiple specialties.
