Opportunity:
Occupational Therapist - Outpatient/Acute Care/LTC
Job Details:
* 13-week travel assignment
* Variable day shift schedule, 5x8 hours per day
* Guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period
* Traveler may be called off for 1 eight-hour shift per 2-week period
* No weekend shifts required
* No on-call requirements
* Cover Outpatient, Acute Care, and Long Term Care/swing bed as needed
* Float within scope to meet facility needs across departments
* Block schedule available upon request
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Locals not accepted - candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility
* Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Alaska state license
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Any
* Parking is free
* Facility-provided housing available during assignment (typically 1-bedroom apartment, may be shared with another traveler)
* Pets are not allowed in housing units
* Additional family members in housing must be approved by the facility
* Housing unit must be cleaned upon departure or additional cleaning fees may apply
* Skills required include: Acute Care, Activities of Daily Living, Biofeedback, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Edema Massage, Electrical Stimulation, Feeding Techniques, TENS, Ultrasound, Arthritis program, Hand Injury, Hip Fracture and Total Hip Replacement, Soft Tissue Injuries, Knee Injuries and Total Knee Replacement, Above and Below Knee Prosthetics, Dynamic Splints, Functional Splints, Orthoplast, Serial/Inhibitory Splints, Static Splints, and Upper Extremity Prosthetics
