Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Work on a Medical Surgical Stroke Stepdown unit with 64 beds
* Treat adult patients with common diagnoses including stroke, altered mental status, renal conditions, dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation cases, general med/surg, pneumonia, and pulmonary issues
* Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes
* 2+ years of experience in Medical Surgical with stroke stepdown experience required
* Travel experience required
* EMR experience with EPIC required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS (NIH certification required for this unit and can be obtained prior to start)
* Active NY RN License required with NURSYS verification of all active RN licenses
* Skills checklist matching specialty required
