Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with some shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM as needed
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in patient care
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care
* Perform assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
* Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plans of care as prescribed by physician and/or clinic policy, including patient and family instruction
* Document according to standards of care
* Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
* Utilize clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
* Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience with appropriate escalation
* Participate in the professional nursing continuum process, unit practice activities, decisions, and peer review process
* Active WI RN Licensure required
* RN Education Verification required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS
