Opportunity:

RN - CCU

Job Details:

* Must have cardiac experience and strong critical care experience
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* 4-week scheduling periods with 3-4 weekend shifts required per scheduling period
* Float as needed to other units depending on unit census
* Work with Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors
* Document using Meditech system
* Advanced skills required: PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring; IABP; Impella; CRRT preferred
* Procedures performed on unit include central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
* Dress code: Galaxy blue, red, or black scrubs; scrub jackets or vests only
* Student nurse externs available as techs and unit secretary available Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Facility:

This facility is a large acute care hospital featuring a 32-bed cardiac care unit with a growing cardiogenic shock program. The unit has 12 beds dedicated to cardiogenic shock patients and is staffed by providers specializing in this specific patient population. The facility is recognized for excellent teamwork, engaged staff, and achievements including a Nurse Practice Council and Daisy Award recognition.
