RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 4:1 with cath recovery and a maximum ratio of 6:1, occasionally stretched to 7:1
* PCTs available on both day and night shifts; Unit Clerks available on day shift
* Every other weekend scheduling requirement
* Agency staff may float to Ortho/Med-Surg as floating priority
* Telemetry experience required
* Advanced skills needed: knowledge of chest tubes and dysrhythmia training
* Procedures performed on unit include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Equipment used: Remote Telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH
* Dress code: Any scrubs except camouflage
* Strive for 75% patient satisfaction rate
