Job Details:

* Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Full-time schedule
* Weekend requirement of 2 to 4 shifts per month, rotated between staff
* On-call requirement of 2 to 4 shifts per month, rotated between staff
* Blocked scheduling not accommodated
* Float to all Med/Surg departments as needed
* Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6
* Use EPIC electronic medical records system
* Grey scrubs required
* Practice independently and demonstrate awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations
* Provide routine and complex care with the ability to focus on long-range goals and plans
* Deliver nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
* Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
* Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
* BLS Certification via AHA required
