Job Details:

* Work four 10-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* Night shift includes rotating on-call responsibilities
* On-call requirements include 2 nights of call per week including rotating weekends
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Perform adult echocardiograms including portable inpatient and outpatient studies
* Perform transesophageal echocardiograms, bubble studies, and Definity contrast studies
* Complete structured reporting on all procedures performed
* Work with GE E95 (4) and Philips Epiq (1) equipment
* Utilize Meditech and CCW electronic medical records systems
* Minimum 6 months experience in an acute care setting as an Echo Tech required
* Pediatric experience required
* BLS and RCS certifications required
* ARDMS certification preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Black or hospital-provided scrubs required
* Must demonstrate flexibility, strong teamwork, and patient-focused approach
* Strong communication skills with staff and providers required

Facility:

This facility is a 272-bed acute care hospital housing an EKG/Cardiopulmonary unit staffed by a team of skilled cardiac sonographers. Located on the first floor of the main hospital building, the unit is equipped with modern cardiac imaging technology including GE and Philips ultrasound systems.
