Job Details:

* Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* Weekend, holiday, and call required
* 13-week assignment
* On-call required with a 30-minute response time
* Must graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
* Current NYS RN license required
* BLS certification required
* ACLS certification preferred
* Preceptorship, charge, and leadership abilities preferred for experienced RNs
* Must possess thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care
* Ability to assess patient needs including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
* Must recognize safety issues and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to move patients safely
* Must function well in stressful situations with good, creative problem-solving skills
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate
* May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills required
* Knowledge in the use of typical clinical equipment and instrumentation utilized in providing a safe and/or aseptic environment in an OR/ASU setting
* Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills required
