Opportunity:

Radiology Technologist (Inpatient)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Call requirements to be discussed during interview
* Schedule may vary based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
* May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
* May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to competency level
* Produce optimal diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care under general supervision of the Imaging Manager
* Provide individualized patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
* Competently operate imaging equipment and related machinery
* Verify and execute physician orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams
* Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic radiographic procedures of the human body
* Demonstrate competency in the OR Suite, Trauma Suite, and portable radiography without assistance by 90-day evaluation
* Regulate patient flow and consult with Radiologists to determine contrast media and image quality improvements
* Assist with billing, supplies stocking, file maintenance, medical charting, informed consent documentation, and quality improvement studies
* May be required to assist other modalities within the department
* Fluoro experience required
* 2 years of experience required
* Prior travel experience required
* Required certifications: AHA BLS
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required upon hire
* State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography required

This facility is an extremely busy and fast-paced 800 inpatient bed hospital serving a 500-mile radius, operating at the volume and pace of a Level 1 trauma center. The facility is a Level 2 trauma center with stroke accreditation and 80 emergency room beds, offering a comprehensive range of advanced medical services including heart and cancer care, neurosciences, robotic surgery, and cutting-edge imaging technologies. The facility is also home to the region's only children's hospital and features state-of-the-art equipment including PET/CT scanners, Biplane Angiography, and 3T MRI technologies.
