Opportunity:

RN - MedSurg

Job Details:

* 12-hour shifts required
* 48 hours guaranteed preferred
* 3 weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule period
* Patient ratio of 1:5
* Unit support includes 1 Unit Secretary, 5 PCTs on Days, and 3 PCTs on Nights
* Documentation system: Meditech
* Perform procedures including IV placement, foley catheters, external urinary catheters, wound care, post-op care, trach care, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
* Use equipment including Welch Allyn/Dynamap VS machines, bladder scanner, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, and wound vacs
* Follow patient experience requirements including AIDET, bedside shift report, and hourly rounding
* Floating policy follows standard facility guidelines
* Required dress code: Navy blue scrub top, navy or black scrub pants; undershirt and/or scrub jacket if worn must be navy, white, or black; no sweatshirts or track jackets
* Required certifications: BLS
* Missouri RN license required

This facility is a well-established medical center offering a comprehensive range of inpatient services. The 3 North MedSurg unit operates with 49 beds and is equipped with modern medical equipment to support a variety of patient care needs. The facility prioritizes meaningful patient connections and maintains high standards for patient experience through structured care practices.
