Open Position: RN - PACU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2044.20

Job Details:

* 5-day work week with 8-hour shifts; 4x10 schedule can be accommodated
* Full-time position
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Critical Care, PreOp, and EPIC experience required
* Patient types include general, ortho, urology, ENT, cath lab, ENDO, GYN, and PEDS; no neuro or cardio
* Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
* Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed
* Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
* Perioperative RN Residency or recent OR/Perioperative experience preferred
* Must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
* RN License in the state of TX or compact license required
