Job Details:

* Block scheduling type
* No on-call required
* No weekends required
* Must have sterile processing experience and certification
* Experience with robotic instrumentation required, robotics experience greatly preferred
* At least 1 year of sterile processing experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Required certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA
* Scrub color: Any color
* Must be comfortable working with adults and geriatric patient populations
* Skills required include: acute hospital OR, cleaning equipment, high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/trays assembly, equipment documentation, biological and chemical indicators, steam sterilization testing/monitoring, and immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS)
* Specialty experience required includes: Ear/Nose/Throat, General, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Urology, Endoscopy, Fiber Optics, Laparoscopic, Ortho/Total Joints, and Vascular
* Additional specialty experience preferred includes: Da Vinci Robotics, Da Vinci SP Surgical System, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, Implants, Loaner/Consignment Trays, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, Trauma, and Transplant
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility features 418 staffed beds and 21 operating rooms, providing comprehensive surgical and procedural services across a wide range of specialties. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers advanced robotic surgical capabilities. The sterile processing department supports a full spectrum of surgical services and maintains high standards for instrument processing and sterilization.
