Open Position: RN - Infection Control

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3495.20

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with some flexibility may be needed
* Billing runs Monday through Sunday
* On-call every 3rd weekend with every other holiday rotation required
* Float responsibilities include back-up floor nursing coverage with possible float on the unit (no cross campus)
* Work in a 38-bed unit providing short-term and long-term care
* Patient ratios: Days 1:20, PM/Nights 1:38
* Primary responsibilities include infection surveillance and management, staff education, monitoring of required education, assisting with care center surveys, and leading quality improvement activities
* Required to assist on the floor as needed
* Minimum 1+ year of experience in long-term care required; RN experience preferred
* Matrix charting experience preferred
* Associates Degree in Nursing or higher required
* Required certifications: MN RN License (must be current and active; temporary license not accepted), AHA BLS, and Infection Prevention Certification
* Desired skills include being a hard worker, resilient, able to manage change, able to work independently, and able to complete tasks in a timely manner
* Dress code: Work-appropriate solid colors or prints
