Opportunity:
Surgical Technologist - OR
Job Details:
* Work 40 hours weekly with a rotating schedule of 2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts
* Typical shift times: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, 10:45 AM - 7:15 PM, 10:45 AM - 11:15 PM, and 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
* Rotating day and afternoon shifts with weekends and holidays required as needed
* 8 to 12 hours of call required weekly with a 30-minute response time
* Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
* Work across 33 total OR suites supporting an average of 80 to 120 cases per day
* Minimum 2 years of OR experience required with strong orthopedic, neuro, trauma, and robotics experience
* 5 years of experience strongly preferred
* Robotic (Da Vinci) experience required
* Service lines include orthopedics (major joints, spines, sports medicine, trauma), neurosurgery (craniotomies and spines), robotic surgical oncology, urology, GYN, bariatric, ENT (head and neck free flaps and reconstruction), and ophthalmology (retina, cataracts, and oculoplasty)
* Level I Trauma Center with 24/7 poly trauma response
* Acute care setting
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided for OR
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, completion of a Surgical Technology program, completion of a Registered Nurse program, or completion of a summer surgical tech extern program required; OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with two years of previous scrub experience
* BSN not required
* Valid driver's license required

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center offering a comprehensive range of surgical services across 33 operating room suites. The organization supports a high volume of surgical cases daily across multiple service lines including orthopedics, neurosurgery, robotics, bariatric, ENT, and ophthalmology. The facility is equipped with advanced Da Vinci robotic surgical technology and maintains dedicated teams across specialized programs to deliver high-quality patient care.
