Opportunity:

Registered Respiratory Therapist - Nights

Job Details:

* Work night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* 36 hours per week with a rotating schedule: Sunday through Tuesday one week, followed by Sunday through Wednesday the next week
* Schedule includes some on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays
* Two years of experience required
* Must maintain current, active Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Colorado
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
* Must hold Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
* Perform and collect diagnostic information including pulmonary function testing, sleep studies, blood gas analysis, and noninvasive and invasive diagnostic procedures
* Accurately assess patients through physical examination and diagnostic data interpretation
* Apply therapeutics to respiratory care including medical gas therapy, humidity therapy, aerosol therapy, airway clearance, and invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation
* Manage artificial airway insertion, management, and care
* Assess patient reactions and results of therapeutic interventions in a timely manner
* Participate in discharge planning and case management
* Participate in public education activities focused on cardiopulmonary wellness
* Attend all mandatory safety in-services and department meetings
