Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Charge nurse capability is highly preferred
* Travel experience is required
* 2+ years of experience in the emergency department required with some pediatric experience
* Experience with EPIC EMR system required
* Care for a diverse patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
* Manage common patient diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
* Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* Work within a 64-bed unit consisting of 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psychiatric beds
* Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
* Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification

The unit features 64 beds across multiple specialized care areas including acute care, trauma, psychiatric, and a clinical decision unit. The facility supports a broad patient population and is equipped with advanced specialty equipment to manage high-acuity cases effectively.
