Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with multiple start time options: 6:00 AM?6:30 PM, 9:00 AM?9:30 PM, 11:00 AM?11:30 PM, 12:00 PM?12:00 AM, 3:00 PM?3:30 AM, or 6:00 PM?6:30 AM
* Mid/evening contracts considered for 12:00 PM?3:00 PM start times
* Every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Holiday coverage as needed per unit
* RTO approved up to 7 days; additional days require nurse manager email
* Minimum 2+ years of emergency department experience required for travel position
* First-time travelers will not be accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:4 RN to patients
* Average daily census of 90?110 patients
* Care for general ED complaints including abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, behavioral health patients, and geriatric patients
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, MOAB 12 or CPI
* Must demonstrate general ED clinical skills as well as soft skills including teamwork, organization, strong communication, and time management
* EMR system: EPIC
* IV Pump: Alaris
* Medication dispensing: Pyxis
* No floating required
* Scrubs: Any color accepted
* Free parking available

This emergency department operates a 32-bed unit supported by a robust multidisciplinary team available around the clock. The department benefits from 24/7 support including respiratory therapy, hospitalist coverage, ED physicians, and mid-level providers, along with a dedicated charge nurse who does not take patients. The facility utilizes industry-standard technology and equipment to ensure high-quality patient care in a collaborative and well-structured environment.
