Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
* Work 12-hour mid shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
* Every other weekend required
* Voluntary on-call requirement
* Floating may be required as helping hands during low census
* EMR system used: EPIC
* Dress code: Pewter/Charcoal grey scrubs
* Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
* Obtain and record initial assessments and establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
* Reassess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention
* Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients within established timeframes
* Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcomes
* Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
* Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
* Perform various Point of Care testing procedures
* Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program required
* Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
* BLS Certification from AHA required
* ACLS Certification from AHA required
* PALS Certification from AHA required
* TNCC or ATCN required
* CPI/De-Escalation certification preferred
