Job Details:

* Minimum 2 years of experience required with some exposure to post-partum care
* Strong labor and delivery experience required including cervical exams, antepartum care, amnio infusions, epidural management, fetal monitoring, IV placement, and Pitocin administration
* Must be able to circulate C-sections
* Baby catching/receiving required
* APGAR scoring required
* Breastfeeding knowledge required
* Post-partum care experience strongly preferred including all aspects from transition to discharge for both mother and baby
* Scrub experience is a bonus; scrub-trained RNs are occasionally utilized for sick call coverage
* Work in a 20-bed unit including 12 labor and delivery beds, 8 post-partum/antepartum beds, 3 OB/ED rooms, 2 OR rooms, and a 6-bed Level II NICU
* EMR: Epic strongly preferred
* No on-call responsibilities
* Teal scrubs are provided
* Multilingual skills in Russian or Spanish preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
* First-time travelers will be considered

Facility:

This facility operates a comprehensive labor and delivery unit with a total of 20 beds, including dedicated labor and delivery rooms, post-partum and antepartum beds, OB/ED rooms, operating rooms, and a Level II NICU. The unit is supported by on-call NP coverage and a Scrub Tech on-site at all times, ensuring a well-staffed and collaborative environment for maternal and newborn care.
