Open Position: Lab Specialist - MLT

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2123.40

Opportunity:

Laboratory - Microbiology

Job Details:

* Work a 7 on/7 off schedule Thursday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM
* Candidate's hours may change during the contract period to 7 on/7 off from 1:00 PM to 12:30 AM - flexibility is required
* First week orientation is Monday through Friday starting at 6:30 AM or 7:30 AM
* Float between two campuses located 16 minutes apart as needed
* Microbiology experience including plate reading is required
* Weekend and holiday availability required
* No on-call requirements
* Scrub color: Brown
* Required certifications: ASCP, BLS (AHA), Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) via AMT Certificate - MT or MLT is acceptable, AMT or ASCP certified
* EMR and equipment used: MEDITECH, Thermo Fisher Quant Studio 5, King Fisher, Applied Biosystems, Manual Pipetting, and Open Platform PCR Technique
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* BSN not required
* No phlebotomy responsibilities
* No lab supervisor or lab assistant responsibilities
* Acute care setting
