Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

* Work 5x8-hour day shifts or possibly 4x10-hour shifts
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby requirements
* Treat an average of 25 patients per linear accelerator (50 total) plus 6-9 CT simulation patients per day
* Work with both adult and pediatric patient populations with minimal pediatric cases
* Perform IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT treatment modalities
* Operate Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and Varian Trilogy equipment
* Utilize Varian ARIA Oncology Information System (required) and Epic EMR (preferred)
* Work alongside on-site Radiation Oncologists and a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech
* No IV start requirements
* Scrub color: Gray
* Charting system: Epic
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment; 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: BLS Certification, ARRT registered Radiation Therapist (T)
* West Virginia state license required

Facility:

This acute care facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with a dedicated Radiation Oncology department equipped with advanced technology including Varian TrueBeam and Trilogy linear accelerators as well as a Siemens Somatom Go.All Open CT simulator. The department is supported by on-site Radiation Oncologists and experienced leadership, providing a collaborative and well-resourced environment for radiation therapy professionals.
