Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

* Night shift hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* Weekend requirement applies
* Holiday requirement applies
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5
* 28-bed Med/Surg unit caring for general medical patients including sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, CHF, and similar diagnoses
* Required to titrate insulin and heparin drips
* CPAP and established BiPAP equipment used on unit
* No telemetry monitor techs on unit; telemetry monitored remotely from centralized location in AZ via Ascom app on iPhone - ability to read strips preferred
* CNA support available at a ratio of 1 CNA to 10-14 patients
* Charge nurse does not take a patient assignment
* Floating within Region I may be required; additional $20 per hour when floated to a non-primary facility
* First to float when unit census is low
* Charting system: EPIC
* Any professional scrub colors accepted
* Minimum 2+ years of related RN experience preferred
* BSN preferred but not required
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Washington state nursing license required
* Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or up to 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks
