Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 13-week contract assignment
* Every other weekend required
* Patient ratio of 4:1, sometimes 5:1 depending on acuity
* No floating to other units
* On-call shifts may be pre-scheduled by department
* Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
* Trauma experience, stroke, and strong sepsis skills required
* Experience in ER, Trauma, Pediatric ER, or Behavioral Health preferred
* Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and emergency department skills
* Positive attitude and team player mentality required
* Strict attendance policy in place
* EMR system: Meditech
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, STABLE, CPI; NRP preferred
* Dress code: Royal blue scrubs or royal blue top with black scrub bottoms; professional dress and grooming required, minimal piercings, natural hair color, tattoos must be covered

This medical center operates a 27-bed Emergency Department with a total staff of 52 team members. The facility maintains a moderate to busy patient volume and provides care across a range of emergency conditions including trauma, stroke, and sepsis cases. The organization prioritizes strong teamwork and maintains strict attendance standards to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
