Open Position: RN - Med Surg Tele

Opportunity:

RN - TRAUMA/ORTHO/MED-SURG

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Trauma/Ortho/Med-Surg unit on Floor 7A
* Nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1
* Every other weekend shifts required
* On-call when census is low
* Operate and monitor equipment including IV pumps, Wound Vacs, SCD pumps, Kangaroo Pumps, Chest Tubes, Telemetry, PCA pumps, Bipaps, and Epidurals
* Perform wound vac changes, wound care, IV insertions, and insertion of indwelling Foley catheters
* Med-Surg experience required
* Strong critical thinking and team collaboration skills required
* Prioritization and time management skills preferred
* Required certifications: Active Nursing License, ACLS, BLS
* ACLS must be obtained prior to submission
* Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs required; no sweatshirts, no crocs
* Floating to units 6A, 3A, 3South, and 4South may be required

The Trauma/Ortho/Med-Surg unit is staffed with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries across both day and night shifts.
