Open Position: Sports Medicine - Exercise Physiologist

Opportunity:

Experienced Exercise Physiologist

Job Details:

* Minimum of one year of experience required
* Cardiac stress testing and nuclear experience required
* Perform cardiovascular fitness testing and exercise stress tests
* Conduct pharmacological stress tests and treadmill protocols (Balke, Bruce, Modified Bruce, Costill, Ellestad, Naughton)
* Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG and monitor vital signs
* Identify contraindications to stress testing and indications for terminating a procedure
* Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and monitor for complications and adverse effects
* Conduct medical history reviews prior to testing
* Activate emergency services and rapid response/code teams as needed
* Work in an outpatient clinic setting treating adult patient populations
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (must have in hand); ACSM-CEP preferred
