Job Details:

* MD/DO provider type required
* Outpatient clinic setting with no rounding, admissions, or call requirements
* 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
* 0.25 FTE with a schedule starting at 1 week per month, then transitioning to 1 week every other month or quarter
* 6-month assignment duration
* Sees adult and geriatric patient populations
* Average of 14 to 16 patients per day
* Works independently with family medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, and pediatrics available Monday through Friday, as well as 24/7 hospitalist and ED physicians on site
* No required procedures
* Active Alaska license required at time of presentation
* Required certification: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
* Epic EMR proficiency required
* Applicant must provide documentation of cardiovascular disease services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months (waived for applicants who completed training within the previous year)
