Job Details:

* Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* No night shift; on-call only for nights
* On-call required 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Must be vascular trained
* Minimum 6 months of current CVOR Tech hospital experience required
* BLS certification required
* NBSTA Certification required
* Must have current active Kansas licensure
* ACLS preferred
* Open heart and cardiovascular experience preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Perform procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR
* Use EMR systems Meditech and CPN
* Work in a unit with 2 heart rooms with a potential 3rd
* Ideal candidate is confident, a team player, and maintains a positive attitude with strong communication skills

Facility:

This medical center operates a dedicated cardiovascular operating room unit with 2 heart rooms and the potential for a 3rd. The unit is staffed with a skilled team of CVOR RNs and CSTs and maintains a 1:1 patient ratio. The facility utilizes Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems and supports a comprehensive range of cardiovascular procedures. An ECMO program is also being restarted, reflecting the facility's commitment to expanding advanced cardiac care services.
