Opportunity:

RN - CCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Assigned to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) with 26 beds
* Patient ratio of 1:2
* Night shift team consists of 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience required
* Neuro ICU experience is required
* Perform and assist with procedures including heart catheterizations, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, cardioversion, central lines, and medication drips
* Work with equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT machines, and hypothermia equipment
* Utilize Meditech EMR system (prior experience preferred)
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
* Prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units preferred
* Must demonstrate a driven, organized, efficient, and positive attitude

This large medical center operates a specialized Coronary Care Unit staffed by experienced nursing professionals around the clock. The facility is equipped with advanced technology including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia equipment to support high-acuity cardiac and neurological patients. The unit maintains a strong team-oriented environment with consistent staffing ratios to ensure quality patient care.
