Opportunity:
RN - Urgent Care
Job Details:
* Active Alaska nursing license required at time of submittal
* Minimum 2 years of urgent care or emergency department experience required, must be within the last 2 years
* Work within the Urgent Care Department to assist patients and medical staff in an ambulatory care setting
* Provide clinical services in collaboration with providers, clinic staff, and management to ensure quality care
* Provide leadership and direction to clinic staff ensuring efficient operation of all aspects of the clinic
* Oversee opening and closing of provider clinics
* Maintain medication inventory and supplies
* Ensure quality control checks are completed with Point of Care tests
* Clearly and correctly document all care and services provided in a timely manner
* Assist providers and other staff as needed to ensure efficient and quality patient care
* Communicate effectively with other departments to serve as a resource for patients, providers, and clinic staff
* Maintain skill sets, annual competencies, and certifications; participate in in-services and educational programs
* Complete all mandatory training and attend staff meetings
* Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including adequate supplies and upkeep of unit and equipment
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
* Must be able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Must live at least 100+ miles away from the facility address
