RN - Operating Room

Job Details:

* Work in an 11-room operating room suite with 1 endoscopy suite
* Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
* Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, and 11 techs; night shift includes 1 nurse and 1 tech
* Perform or assist with a variety of surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, and bariatrics
* Operate OR equipment including multiple types of orthopedic beds and 4 robotic surgical systems
* Document using MEDITECH EMR system
* Weekday availability required with rotating weekend on-call shifts
* No floating required
* Scrubs provided by facility
* RN license required; CST required
* BSN and CNOR certification preferred
* Required certification: BLS
* High energy and motivated personality preferred

This medical center features a robust surgical services department with 11 operating rooms and a dedicated endoscopy suite, supported by a team of 45 staff members. The facility is well-equipped with advanced OR technology including multiple types of orthopedic beds and four robotic surgical systems, enabling a wide range of complex surgical procedures. The organization utilizes MEDITECH as its electronic medical records system and maintains comprehensive policies and guidelines to ensure high standards of patient care.
