Job Details:

* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates accepted
* Every other weekend schedule based on unit needs
* No block scheduling
* All requested time off must be submitted with the submittal and approved prior to offer
* Patient ratio of 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
* May float to other units within skillset based on facility needs
* May float to the main New Brunswick campus, which is connected by a pedestrian bridge
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color: Navy blue
* Required certifications: BLS, Chemotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
* ACLS preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Active NJ or Compact nursing license required
* Required skills include: administration of chemotherapy, anaphylaxis management, body fluid handling post chemotherapy, continuous infusion of chemotherapy, IV push administration of chemotherapy, management and disposal of cytotoxic spills, monitoring chemotherapy, and recognizing and managing side effects
* Patient age groups served: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include: medical oncology, surgical oncology, blood disorders, and intermediate-care patients
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
